Acton Bridge Pre School Association provides professional, experienced and affordable childcare for children aged from 2.5 to 5 years old. It’s a place where lifelong friendships amongst families are made.
We are a rural, community based pre-school which first started in Acton Bridge over 40 years ago. We are a charity and continue to operate with the support of our dedicated, experienced staff and an extremely enthusiastic committee of parent and community volunteers.
Acton Bridge Pre-school continues to this day to provide quality preschool education, relying on the wealth of experience from our dedicated team of staff.
The emphasis here is on learning through creative and structured play. We offer a fantastic learning environment with a spacious indoor activity room and a secure, fully equipped outdoor play area. The children also go on termly organised trips as well nature walks around the village and the very exciting trip to the library bus!
We are open on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 3pm to fit in with local school drop off and collection times. From January 2019 we are extending our openings to a Friday as well!
Our children come from a range of local communities including Weaverham, Hartford, Northwich, Acton Bridge, Crowton, Gorstage, Norley and Kingsley and so we feed into a variety of local schools.
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to a FREE place for 15 hours per week and we are now able to offer similar free places to eligible 2.5 year olds. Contact your local children’s centre to see if you can take advantage of these free places. Many families are also entitled to an extended 30 hours of free childcare for their 3-4 year old. We accept this funding during the sessions which we provide.
If you are looking for a place for your child, please contact us and arrange to come and see for yourself what a great place it is.
